Our Story

Founded in 2021 by Walt and Renee Young, Dockside Woodcraft is a veteran-owned small business dedicated to creating meaningful, high-quality products that people are proud to give, display, and use every day.

What began as a woodworking shop has grown into a creative studio combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Today we design and produce custom wood products, laser-engraved gifts, UV-printed acrylic artwork, faux stained glass, personalized business displays, home décor, marine graphics, pet memorials, promotional products, and one-of-a-kind custom pieces.

Many of our wood products are crafted from reclaimed and repurposed hardwoods sourced from larger manufacturing facilities, giving beautiful materials a second life while reducing waste. Every project is built with the same attention to detail we'd expect if it were going into our own home.

With more than 40 years of experience serving clients in demanding industries, we've built our reputation on something that's becoming increasingly rare: doing what we say we'll do. We believe great craftsmanship should be matched by great communication, fair pricing, and dependable service.
